Hey, I’m Carolina

I currently reside in Frederick, Maryland, but Damascus, Maryland is where I call home. It was in that small town where I fell in love with everything photography. It started when I was 13 years old, and I got my first camera, I would spend hours taking pictures of my late dog. Once my dog passed I realized all I had left were the pictures, these little moments frozen in time. You can look at them for hours and memories will just flood your mind.

Having come from a small town, I am an absolute sucker for a good love story because I was surrounded by so many of them! From my own parents who have been married 25+ years, to the old couple down the road who have been married almost 60 years! I knew I wanted to be the person to capture these moments in time, to frame these love stories that would remain in families for generations.

This is what makes me strive to capture every moment possible. It’s personal to me; I capture your memories the way I’d want to capture mine. It’s what motivates me, if I couldn’t see it hanging on my own wall, I wouldn’t dream of letting it hang on yours.

“You don't take a photograph, you make it” -Ansel Adams

It’s all in the details, this is the mantra I live by when I look at you through a viewfinder. I will always try to stay one step ahead of you, I’ll try to plan out where to put myself for that perfect shot, every time.

Hey, I’m Manny

I am Carolina’s husband and trusted assistant, we both actually hail from the same hometown. I’ve been working with Carolina since she decided to start up her own photography business when we were just dating. I’ve been with her from the very start, from when she just had an idea for a dream.

She’s come a long way since then, and since she started taking on bigger and bigger jobs, which needed some extra help.

When I’m not glued to a couch watching a hockey game, or out on a sheet of ice myself, you can usually find me helping her with her business. From carrying all her equipment around from the day of your wedding, to keeping an eye on the clock to make sure that she stays on track with our plans to capture every shot just right.

While I’m not a photographer by trade, I am an automotive detailer. So, I understand how essential it is to get every last detail right when it comes to your wedding. From someone placing their hand wrong, to an untied shoe, to a fly away hair, I’m right there with Carolina to ensure when she takes a photo everything is up to her standards.

Recently she’s tasked me with learning how to shoot photos myself and I get to work even closer with her. So you may occasionally see me working a camera myself, but when I look through that viewfinder, know that I am looking through it by the same standards that Carolina set for me.

“You can’t be common, the common man goes nowhere; you have to be uncommon” - Herb Brooks

I try to live by this quote, especially when I’m working a wedding with Carolina. Just good enough, isn’t good enough for us, we try our hardest to exceed every expectation you may have had for us, because we want to ensure that when everything is said and done, you are left with only the best possible moments from your special day.
